On or around August 18, 2025, Monroe County will begin Road Construction on Old Route 156 from Meyer Ave. (the entrance to New Valmeyer) West down to Bluff Road (in Old Valmeyer).  The road will remain open under a one lane condition; however, short-term closures are possible.
