The following is the Village of Valmeyer Tree and Limb Pickup Policy:

• The Village of Valmeyer will continue to provide a limb pickup program after a storm-related incident.

After a storm, residents should place limbs within 2 feet of the curb or roadside. The limbs should be placed parallel to the roadway.

After placement of the limbs, residents should contact the Village of Valmeyer at (618) 935-2131 to be included on the limb pickup list.

Limb pickup should be requested within a reasonable length of time following the storm (2 weeks).

• The Village of Valmeyer DOES NOT pick up tree limbs and branches that have been trimmed by the homeowner or commercial tree trimmer.

However, the Village of Valmeyer Yard Waste Site is available to city residents to dispose of their own tree limbs and branches.  Commercial tree trimmers are prohibited from disposing of limbs and/or branches at the city’s yard waste site.

The Valmeyer Yard Waste Site is located ¼ north of Borsch Park on the West side of Bluff Road.  YARD WASTE ONLY – NO PLASTIC BAGS AND NO TRASH!
